Stakeholders’ Advisory Working Groups (SAWGs)
The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT), MTA Metro-North Railroad (MNR) and the New York State Thruway Authority (NYSTA) invite members of the public and interested individuals to participate in the Tappan Zee Bridge/I-287 Corridor Project’s Stakeholders’ Advisory Working Groups (SAWGs). These hands-on working groups have played, and will continue to play, an important role as the Environmental Impact Statement process moves forward.
The objective of the SAWGs is to keep interested individuals informed about the study and solicit their input and ideas. The SAWGs are a valuable forum for the exchange of information, discussion of issues, and solicitation of feedback that the Project Team will take under consideration in the design development process.
