Tappan Zee Bridge/I-287 Environmental Review

Open Houses - June 28 & 30, 2010
Overview

The Tappan Zee Bridge / I-287 Corridor Project Open Houses were held in Westchester and Rockland Counties on June 28 and June 30, 2010. The Project Team displayed, discussed and collected comments on the Alternatives, including transit alignment options and current bridge configurations, from participants toward advancing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement.

The goal of the open houses was to show “work in progress” and provide an opportunity to speak directly, one-on-one, to the Project Team, as well as to ask questions and express concerns. Additionally, visitors were given handouts with more information about the project and comment sheets to express their ideas and concerns.
